EMDR Consultation for Therapists

EMDR makes sense on paper. Real sessions are a little different.

A space to deepen your confidence, strengthen your clinical skills, and feel more grounded in your EMDR work.

Yesim Saldivia, EMDR consultations, Northern Colorado

You’ve completed EMDR training and maybe even started using it with clients…
but you’re realizing there’s a difference between understanding the model and actually applying it in the room.

You might find yourself wondering:

  • Am I doing this right?
  • What do I do when a client gets stuck or overwhelmed?
  • How do I handle more complex cases?

You’re not alone in that.

This is where things start to come together—not just in theory, but in practice.

Who This Is For

This space is for therapists who are:

  • Newly trained in EMDR and wanting more support as they begin
  • Working toward EMDR certification
  • Feeling stuck or unsure in certain cases
  • Wanting to deepen their understanding of trauma and dissociation
  • Looking to feel more confident and grounded in their work

What It’s Like to Work With Me

My approach to consultation is collaborative, supportive, and grounded.

This is a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. You can bring your questions, your uncertainty, your stuck points—and we’ll work through them together.

We’ll focus on both the structure of EMDR and the nuance that comes with real clinical work, including:

  • Case conceptualization through a trauma-informed lens
  • Navigating all 8 phases of EMDR
  • Working with dissociation and complex trauma
  • Integrating parts work (IFS-informed) into EMDR
  • Exploring additional protocols and resourcing strategies
  • Using EMDR within therapy intensives

This isn’t about doing EMDR perfectly. It’s about helping you trust your clinical instincts, deepen your understanding, and feel more steady in the work you’re doing.

A Note on My Approach

In addition to EMDR, I bring in elements of parts work (IFS-informed), somatic awareness, and a relational lens.

My goal is not just to help you understand the model, but to support you in applying it in a way that feels natural, effective, and aligned with your clinical style.
