“Sometimes the most important thing in a whole day is the rest we take between two deep breaths.”
Etty Hillesum
Many men are taught to stay strong, push through, and handle things on their own. Over time, that can become exhausting—like carrying more than anyone else can see.
At the same time, there is often stigma around therapy for men, and it can be difficult to find support that actually feels like a good fit. Many men are navigating mixed messages from society about masculinity—pressure to be strong, unemotional, and self-reliant, while also being expected to be open, emotionally available, and deeply connected in relationships. These conflicting expectations can feel confusing and hard to sort through.
You might notice stress building, irritability showing up more easily, emotional shutdown, or a quiet sense that something feels off—but it’s hard to fully name.
Therapy is a space where you don’t have to keep holding it all together by yourself. A space to slow down, make sense of what you’ve been carrying, and begin to reconnect with yourself at a steadier pace.
You don’t need to be in crisis to start therapy. Many of the men I work with come in because they’re:
I also support fathers who are trying to navigate the demands of parenting while balancing work, relationships, and their own emotional wellbeing.
Wherever you are, we begin there.
My approach is collaborative, grounded, and supportive. I aim to create a space where you can be real—without pressure, judgment, or needing to have it all figured out.
I integrate EMDR and IFS therapy to help you:
This work isn’t about forcing change or overanalyzing everything—it’s about helping you feel more steady, present, and connected to yourself.
Starting therapy can feel unfamiliar, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear plan for where to begin.
If you’re ready to explore what’s been weighing on you—and what might become possible when you don’t have to carry it alone—I’m here to support you.
"Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts."
Rachel Carson
