EMDR, IFS, and Somatic Therapy Specialized for Trauma, Grief, Women’s Issues & Men's Issues

Philosophy and Approach

My approach to therapy is holistic and integrative. I draw from different modalities—including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, IFS Parts Work, somatic therapy, CBT, and mindfulness—but I’m not rigid about it. What matters most is finding what actually works for you.

I tailor therapy to your specific needs, goals, and pace. There’s no one-size-fits-all here.

I value and respect the differences that shape who we are. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and welcoming to people of all identities, cultures, and backgrounds. I also approach this work through an anti-oppressive lens, meaning we can acknowledge how larger systems and life experiences have impacted you—without minimizing or overlooking them.

In our work together, my goal is to offer a space where you don’t have to have it all together. You can show up as you are—messy, unsure, overwhelmed, or however you’re feeling—and be met with care, honesty, and a steady, nonjudgmental presence.

The relationship we build in therapy really matters. I encourage you to speak up, ask questions, and share any concerns along the way so we can adjust and make sure this space is actually working for you.

If this feels like it might be a good fit, you’re welcome to reach out for a free initial consultation.
